Hand painted Hutschenreuther porcelain collectible display plate. c.1956. A lovely feminine plate that is backstamped and signed in gold script: Helen Fisher, 1-23-56. Backstamp is in green and is shown more clearly on pg. 65 of Kovels as mark M. Backstamp reads: Hutschenreuther, Selb, and a lion? symbol in a circle with LHS, Bavaria Germany. The name of the company is L. Hutschenrenreuther Porcelain Factory. This mark was only used from 1955-1969. It features pink roses and an aqua blue border with gold and is 8 x 8 inches. Minor age/wear. Being sold as collectible display item and not for food use since I did not make it, nor do I know if it has anything harmful in it. |
