Large vintage Heisey Glass Orchid tray. c:1896-1957. Lovely etched glass platter with the Heisey symbol in center, (H in a diamond). Orchid pattern w/two handles, and no chips or cracks. Some minor wear, (fine, small scratches) that are really only noticeable if under a lamplight. This tray is 14.75 x 12. A gorgeous piece to use or display! If using it, put a fancy paper doily on it to protect the glass. Perfect for the holidays to serve a torte cake on! Orchid is one of Heisey's most popular lines; Heisey was in business from 1896-1957 and specialized in elegant but functional glassware! |
