Drop dead gorgeous hand painted and enameled vintage porcelain pedestal compote. This is a beautiful and good sized compote; 6 tall x 10 wide, w/blue underglaze crossed swords mark. It resembles a Meissen piece but is likely Dresden. No chips or cracks; features colonial figures in various poses and attire. Gold trim and basketweave openwork rim with gorgeous flower sprays. This could be the centerpiece of your china cabinet or dining table! Age est: late 19th, early 20th. Very aged bottom rim.
