Vintage German brass box. c:1929. It has a wood bottom and a silk/satin lining. Lining is a bit worn out. It has incised Germany mark on bottom, and in script: 'Len...?, From Dolry?, Feb. 10th, 1929, Beverly Hills, Calif.' Note the old State abbreviation. It is 3.25 wide x 1.75 tall, and has 4 bun feet. Hard to make out the names. Just an interesting old box. FYI: 1929 was the year the stock market crashed which started the Great Depression. |
