Awesome antique hammered copper vase. This vase looks a bit small in the photo, but this is a good sized vase. Incised mark: 'Mexico'. This is a really fabulous piece; very attractive with a great patina. Age est: 1910-20's or earlier. Nice condition; quite hefty with wrought iron handles that are riveted onto the base with old deep reddish paint on the handles. It stands 10 inches tall x 9 wide. A great furniture accessory. Mexico is well known for their fine copper and silversmiths. One of the nicest pieces of copper I have on hand right now. 11/09actestblmf#2707 |
