Antique J. B. footed box. Very lovely, heavy art nouveau box w/figurines, incredibly detailed. Inside is blue velvet lining. The metal might be white brass, or brass with silver plate, it is way too heavy to be pot metal. Bottom is marked: J. B. 3.5 tall x 5 long x 3.5 deep. Jennings Bros. were famous metal manufacturers. Age est: 1900's-1930's. Jennings Bros. were famous for their high quality metal crafting and rich patination on metalworks; Bridgeport, Conn. 1891-1900's.
