Very nice size vintage Monmouth aqua vase. c: 1946. This vase has a raised USA within a block mark on the bottom with a dry rim. The mark is identical to the monmouth1116 vase just added, albeit a bit more pronounced. This vase is shown on pg. 142 of the 1983 book by J. Martin; mold number #373, see photo #8 from the book. This good sized vase is 8 inches tall x 6 wide. No chips or cracks. I had been looking for the maker of this mark for several years and just found both of the vases I recently added which are shown in the Monmouth book! Eureka! I had thought they were either Shawnee, Morton, or RRP. This is the perfect size vase to use or just display on a shelf! 8/11scsr |
