Manufacturer: National
Antique Rochingham or Nurock bowl trio. Three smaller sized bowls for one price. The largest is marked: National. It is 7.5 wide x 3 tall; some glaze misses; rough rim edge in some areas; pinpops; all common on this type of pottery. National Pottery Co. was located in Roseville, Ohio c: 1800's-1937. The glaze type is referred to as Rockingham or Nurock; both are very similar. Next one has a lovely pattern on the exterior; no chips or cracks. It is 5.75 wide x 3 tall; likely Bennington pottery. The last one might be an early Brush Nurock bowl; it has incised number #168 on bottom. It has some large gouges in bottom rim but those are glazed over so that's just how it was made. It is 6.25 wide x 2.75 tall. These smaller sized bowls are considered 'rare'. Awesome antique bowls for your collection! 11/14 |
