Circa: 1948 Manufacturer: Stanley Kelloggs
Vintage Stanley Kellogg art pottery flower frog. Neat looking flower frog than could also be used as an incense burner. It also has the underplate with it; what purpose that serves I do not know. Both have incised mark: S. Kellogs. The flower frog atop the base stands 4 inches tall. No chips or cracks on the flower frog; the bottom piece has a fleatite on the edge, see closeup photo. Stanley Kellogg had a studio in Petosky, Michigan from 1968 and it closed in 1976. I think he passed in 1972 though. 3/15 |
