Victorian Goofus Glass bowl vase. c: 1800's-1920's. It might be a berry bowl or compote. No chips but has some scratches in bottom of bowl; and some noticeable gold paint loss; see photos 3-6. These are very common flaws on this type of old glass. It is 9 wide x 3 tall. Just wipe with a damp cloth, don't scrub or put in a dishwasher. I think it looks pretty despite the age/wear. Great for a Victorian room! I have not come across any goofus glass in a very long time. 3/15scs |
