Vintage porcelain teapot. Enlarge the photos to see it more clearly. This is a beautiful teapot but not sure how to characterize it. It looks like an Imari pattern and flow blue. It is a very thin porcelain with a lot of gold accents. I would guess it is early Japan, (Nippon), but was not made for export since it is not backstamped. It might also be European. It has no chips or cracks and stands 5.5 tall x 8 inches long. The lid doesn't fit very snug, but that's just how it was made. It's a gorgeous teapot for display with your other teapots! 2/18
