Circa: 1980 Manufacturer: Nicolasa
Vintage Santa Clara black pottery vase signed: Nicolasa, Santa Clara. Nicolasa Naranjo, c: 1907-2002. Research indicates this would have made in the 1980's. Nicolasa is the daughter of Tomacita and Agapito Naranjo, and grandaugher of Sara Tafoya, a cousin of the well known Margaret Tafoya. Nicolasa was a distinguished potter in her own right. This vase is 5.5 long x 4.5 wide x 2.5 tall. Attractive vase; minimal age/wear; no chips or cracks. Very collectible piece than can go in an Arts & Crafts room, modern or contemporary rooms too! 7/18utcs |
