RS Prussia Display Plate Platter. c: 1880's-1917. RS Prussia mark on back with impressed number 19. Red star, green wreath, red RS and Prussia. This platter/cake plate is 11 x 11 inches. No chips, cracks or repairs and it was checked under a black light. It does have some white dots and pin dots. It is much richer in coloring than it looks in the photos; the camera seems makes it seem faded for some reason. Beautiful to display in a wall plate rack in a dining room or curio cabinet. It has a rooster, hen, duck, a white bird, and a turkey towards the right side. It might be a turkey or other type of bird. 11/22sc |
